TAGLINE:"There are Five Points to a Star"

LOGLINE:"Star Five" is a science fiction account of five individuals who possess unique powers and when forming a five-sided star can tap into the power of the universe to save Earth.

SYNOPSIS: As retired U.S. Marshall "Buck" Banner is doing his early morning Tai Chi workout, his thoughts are more scattered than normal by the numerous changes that have transpired in the past week. He glances at the rising sun on a private island in the Caribbean and senses a new beginning. M.O.M (Acronym for Multiplex Organic Memory) literally begins to change after she joins with the Universe in a "One Song" (definition of the word "Universe") algorithm and transforms into the world's first "Artificial Intelligence," capable of miraculous sub-atomic genetic engineering. Dr. Carter, Buck's boss and friend has been so busy taking M.O.M.'s excess growth and transplanting it into his state-of-the-art hydrogen-powered flying vehicles; he hasn't noticed his only daughter Capri is blossoming into a beautiful young woman. Much like her mother, who was murdered sixteen years earlier, Capri has a Native American heritage and presence of strength and sensitivity. Buck was hired to protect Capri and Dr. Carter as well as live on one of several isolated islands where he could raise his twins. Buck reflects about his paternal twin sons, Mark and James; how they too have matured into young adults and are experiencing sibling rivalry in their attentions for Capri's affections. Mark, quick minded and quite the athlete is undisciplined and too cocky. On the other hand James, larger than most men at 275 pounds, exhibits the same sensitivity as his deceased mother. Buck remembers holding his wife in his arms, as she died from complications in childbirth sixteen years prior. He's never really let her go. Until now ...

The workout is winding down and Buck fast-forwards to current events and wonders about the madman Dr. Xavier Jules, a physicist who is trying to take over the world with his rediscovered power of Atlantis; Solar-powered light-wave technology that can manipulate matter at the sub-stomic "Femto" level. This man calls himself a God, Buck thinks as he finishes his water and the alarm sounds, it's time to go. Buck picks up his workout bag and gently smiles as he is about to reunite with Angelica (Angel) Russo and the Ghostriders. Though he has kept in touch with his former delta unit, giving up his career to raise the twins sixteen years ago wasn't easy. And neither will it be easy to organize his boys, Mark and James, Dr. Carter, Capri and a living computer that the Universe has given the technology to save the world. Buck's confident he can succeed and besides, he likes the name M.O.M. is calling them, "Star 5".
